Online study – ‘the Sutras of the Soul’

Dear students,

In early 2007 we launched the online access to the 'School of the Livingness' as part of the teachings of 'The Way of the Livingness'.

The 'School of the Livingness' is an esoteric school and its teachings are expressed through many forums. The school itself is one of the teaching arms of Universal Medicine and it has been in operation since the year 2000.

The online teachings began with many of our teachings being uploaded onto our website. This included interviews, readings, commentary on illness and disease, energetic revelations and other material such as the New Year’s messages.

The forum for 2009 concerns the teachings called - 'The Sutras of the Soul.' The Sutras of the Soul are based on the living principles and energetic sciences that come from and thus are derived from the Science of the Soul. Sanskrit text and other forms of esoteric literature describe the Divine Soul as man’s origins and that its physical aspect or, ‘animal soul’ (the human living physical counterpart of the Divine Soul) needed to re-unite with its original fiery source. It is said that this is the key to self-salvation. The Soul speaks the language of energetic truth, that is, it speaks spherically and thus it is always all-encompassing, for it belongs to the one Soul we call humanity. In union, humanity is the original one soul, but in its many individualised forms, it is what we call the race of men. Hence, if you adhere to the fiery-source of our origin we can arrest the disharmony that so devastates each individual from knowing and thus being who they truly are.

One of the truer forms of teaching esoteric and occult principles is by a style known as a sutra. A true esoteric sutra is a living captured piece or statement that wholly represents the wider more encompassing aspect of the vast spherical knowledge. Even though it is a part of a greater whole, a true esoteric sutra, can encapsulate its great knowledge and not leave out any of its living whole. This simply means that - the great vastness, in part, can be summed up and thoroughly described, and yet, not a single particle of that which it represents is unaccounted for. This is the key to a true sutra. It is not a method of sticking to any literal rule but rather the livingness of the whole being totally represented without compromise.

We have been presenting and teaching the Sutras to a live audience since the middle of 2005. Up until the end of 2008 we delivered them through a program we called the Arcane Project. The Arcane Project was a vehicle through which we delivered the new living Sutras that pertained to modern living. Whilst modern in their relativity, they brought forth all the ancient knowledge of the Masters that have walked before us, those who have defeated the 'wheel of re-birth' by arising from the plane of Illusion.

Modern living is void of the many simple and sound living principles of old, which contain the energetic truths that encompass life as it truly is. Our bodies are lesser as a result of the over reliance on the strictly intellectualised versions of health that lack true and essential energetic knowledge. All is energy and we cannot leave out the energetic knowledge when it comes to our health. Sadly, and to our own demise, we have left behind the energetic principles and truths of life and thus, mankind has suffered ever since. We need to get back to the energetic essentials of life that not only represent the old and immutable truths, but that also represent the modern expression of where we are today and where we need to get to if we are ever going to arrest the inner-turmoil and chaos that exist within so many that then cause the outer turmoil and chaos the rest of humanity has to ill endure.

In this regard and in many others, the Sutras themselves have proven to be a great success if we are to assess it so from the overwhelming response that we have had from our students all over the world. Through the Arcane Project we have been able to present the live recordings of the Sutras, as given by the Masters, and, have the live recordings up-loaded onto our website so that those around the world who responded and thus joined the School of the Livingness were able to download and play them back at their own convenience. This has been a real international success to so many. Usually, that 'convenience', entailed an iPod or a CD in the car whilst driving, doing chores or gardening, whilst one goes for a walk, in silence, and or in group gatherings where our students shared the recordings with others. (We do not mind if the recordings are shared, we only ask that they not be bastardised by being copied and mentally repeated as if they were the original teachings of another.)

Having the recordings has meant that the students could listen to the Sutras whenever they wanted to and as many times as they chose to listen to them. In addition, many students have used their ‘Sutra library’ to refer back to those Sutras that best suited the occasion as it was needed and or, sent them to a loved one who was in need. As each Sutra is themed, one can draw from it a specific revelation that helps identify and thus bring greater clarity to those often difficult dilemmas, patterns or other sources of confusion.

This year, we will unfold a greater out-pouring of the work in the same sense that Universal Medicine has kept up-to-date with what is truly happening within society and its true state of health. From Universal Medicine’s perspective, taking this work to all areas is no more and no less a continuance of that which has prevailed since late 1999. We are dedicated to the energetic truths of old and to the restoration of the human being as a living unit of harmony that can then bring forth that harmony to all other life it shares its livingness with.

In keeping with what is energetically going on in our world - the beginning of 2008 marked the ending of an important cycle that began in January 2000. The new cycle, which began in January 2008, will run ascendingly until the last day of 2011. As we predicted, this new cycle sees the energetic launch of the Akashic period and, it is a cycle that will vibrationally evolve over the next few years as it will be calibrated in accordance to how humanity responds or conversely reacts to the inner callings of their Soul. In lay terms, this means that – many are today experiencing much that they have buried and or thought they had dealt with, but in-truth have not yet lovingly completed as a needed true healing.

Humanity is today being asked by the Human Soul (the one soul we all belong to) to be love and the opposite to that, such as the wars, the upheavals, the rise in illness and disease, the chaos, the exhaustion, the rate of relationship breakdowns and the lack of any true rest anywhere is simply the resistance to the Light of the Soul which is pouring out ever more over us as a race of beings who have lost touch with our one common goal to be in union.

Hence, and almost in incredible opposing terms, the root conditions of many of our issues and woes are today been highlighted by the greater amount of love that is being poured out. How does this work? If your soul pours into you more of its fiery-love, that which is not of true love, arises to be dealt with. That which is not love must be discarded in order to make room for the greater amount of love. However, if we deny, bury and or resist that which is of our own deeper true love, we will create an opposing form of behavior that looks like anything but love. Put simply, we cannot be love or pretend to be love if we are harboring so much lovelessness. It is the latter that causes so much upheaval and thus the emptiness that most live with, which results in the so many ‘fillers’ we seek in order to arrest the otherwise pain of being separated from self.

We have, as a society and as a species at large, developed a method to deal with our emptiness, which uses the mind to escape and or explain whatever we need explained that suffices the mind. This method does not in-truth heal the emptiness we continue to carry. And thus, an empty race of beings, develop a very clever mind that will either bury them in some form of numbness or distraction and or stimulate them into excessive mental activity, which brings exactly the same with a different flavor. This simply means that – most, are either ‘checked-out’ or, over-stimulated mentally to achieve the same form of distraction and thus numbness in a bid to not feel the fact that they miss being truly met and thus being truly loved. Being checked-out or engrossed in work, study or in any other project are one and the same form of distraction and numbness away from the inner-love we all crave.

Let’s be honest, we want to be truly met.

We want to be seen, felt and related to for who we are and not for what we do.

And hence the purpose of our teachings – to bring that which is eternally alive deeply within, to the awareness of every individual, so that they can be self-met by whom they truly are and thus, having been met by their true inner-self, they can, in whole and fullness, truly meet others. This is the key: we cannot be met by another who has not himself or herself been met by whom they truly are. This is the revelation of the illusional tail men and women have been erroneously chasing. We simply cannot be met by another if we have not been self-met. And neither can we feel being met if we do not choose to meet ourselves in-truth. Hence, we cannot blame others our ills. We can, instead of blaming others, choose to truly heal by choosing to self-love first for before we seek that connection with any other.

As a solution to this dilemma, the Sutras have brought a very thorough and direct explanation and a very truth-full view of what is truly going on in the minds and bodies of so many as a result of this long-term emptiness. The Sutras expose the tricky human spirit (the animal/physical soul) and its many pranic forays that have lead to so many ill patterns and behaviors that create those very difficult momentums we find so hard to arrest. These momentums lead to many of our self-destructive patterns that we wrestle with over many lifetimes, which so many, in the end, simply give in to and allow themselves to be controlled by what they know is not their true self. The issues then become compounded, for if you live for so long in a way or state of being that you know is not your true self, it does not take long for a great bout of self-loathing to kick in and take over your conscious, and later, your subconscious state of being. Having a program of deep self-loathing running your subconscious being does not allow you to rise above what you clearly see is not working and thus, you find yourself powerless in changing it. It is not that we are power-less, to the contrary, we are very power-full however, living so long in that given-up state makes one forget that they are but a simple series of gentle breaths away from their true self. In-truth, it is ridiculously that simple to re-connect back to a truer state of being – one that allows that very sought after truth that one re-discovers and thus can say – I FEEL LIKE ME AGAIN!

The Sutras have not only delivered the answers, and the techniques on how to get there, but they have also chipped away at the so many ill-mind-full and thus ill-mental obstacles that stand in the way of one holding that connection. Of course, in the end, it is always left to the student to up-hold themselves in whatever mental state of being they choose to be in, the Sutras can only present the what is and the what is not and thus, it is up-to the student to take heed and a loving self-regard and thus self-correct what the separated unmet-self has ill-chosen. Having said that, it is much easier when it is revealed in a clear manner for one to make such a choice with greater clarity; it is to this cause that the Sutras serve.

There are no tricks and there is no pandering. And there are no stones left unturned in the Divine Soul’s quest to have you return to it. You are naturally designed and thus destined to regain your original true self and in this regard the Sutras have lovingly served every aspect of this return and will continue to provide as such, as we unfold further the Science of the Soul.

The School of the Livingness for 2009

In addition to the many courses, workshops, lectures, interviews, books etc, we present the ‘live recordings’ of the Sutras of the Soul. In doing so we are continuing to make this work more accessible and thus, taking the work and teachings of the Hierarchy into a mainstream of study that includes a live-like interactivity that is synonymous with our consistent delivery and its energetic integrity. The Sutras offer an in-depth study of the ancient knowledge and wisdom that can be applied in modern terms and thus into modern living.
For now, we are joyful in heart that we can again present the 'School of the Livingness' as an interactive 'live project' for you to be part of. The ‘living sutras’ are a way or form that allows us the ability to reclaim ourselves in a more sensible and practical way of being that enriches our true-being and thus empowers the true freedom of choice and the clear consciousness to do so.
With this in mind the 'School of the Livingness', will again present the Sutras of the Soul as they are recorded live before an audience of around 160 people. The Sutras will be available for study once a month (dates are on our website). Each presentation will be recorded 'live' and made available to our national and international students by the next day.
